On Tuesday the 10th of December, our First Year Boys Rugby team made the short journey down to Greystones Rugby club for their match against East Glendalough.
In the first half, East Glendalough started off very strong scoring 2 tries but making only one of the conversions to bring the score to 12-0. The David's lads worked hard and earned themselves a try from Ryan Goff to make it 12-7. However East Glendalough responded with 2 more tries before half time to make the score 26-7.
The second half was tough for the lads but they did not give up, unfortunately it was not enough East Glendalough scored an additional 2 tries before the full time whistle, the game ended 38-7 in favour of East Glendalough despite the standout performance from David’s Ross Kavanagh.
Hard luck to the lads but we have no doubt they will bounce back quickly from this disappointing loss. A big thank you to Mr. Davies for coaching the First Year Rugby Boys Team!
