1st Year Rugby Vs Temple Carrig

On Friday the 14th of March at 2:45, our side took part in a great match against Temple Carrig's 1st Year Boys' Rugby team. Mr. Davies' lads were eager to play in this Greystones derby and put their skills to the test against a strong opposition.

It was a competitive first half with a number of tries scored but unluckily the lads couldn't get the better of the powerful Temple Carrig side. As half time ended the score was 12-24 to Temple Carrig.

When the whistle blew for the second half it was clear that Mr. Davies half time team talk had the lads riled up, as David's turned on their attacking verve, delivering some excellent play. It was another high scoring half, leading to the final score 24-44 in favour of Temple Carrig. It was an unfortunate loss for our First Year Boys but they should be encouraged by the great showcase of talent and skill from both sides.

We have no doubt the boys will bounce back from this defeat and continue to build on their ever-improving technical skillset. A huge thank you to Mr. Davies for coaching and accompanying the lads.
