1st Year Soccer VS CCM

On the 27th of January the 1st Year Boys' soccer team set out for their match against CCM

at 11:30. They had a great warm up led by TY coach Leo Duffy.

The match kicked off with great team play and a goal scored in the first 10 minutes thanks to Gethin Davies, followed by a cracking finish from Andrew McCarron in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, in the 26th minute the lads conceded a goal due to a quick free kick from CCM. 

The team started the second half strongly with good defence until unfortunately another conceded goal in the 44th minute. In the last 10 minutes CCM scored another to take the lead but the lads didn't drop the heads. They roared back to level the scoreline thanks to some quick thinking and a cool finish by Jack Williams.

Congratulations to the lads coming out with a final score of 3-3, and a big thank you to Mr. McDonald for coaching the lads!
