Junior Boys' Rugby vs St Gerard's

St. Gerard’s 7 St. David’s 31

On Thursday 30th of January, our Junior Boys made the trip to Thornhill Road to do battle in a local derby against St. Gerard's. St. David’s came out on top in an entertaining game, led by man of the match Clark Kelly and their brilliant ball carrier, James Ward.

St. David’s took the early lead through a well worked try finished by Jude Leahy. St. Gerard’s then hit back to make it 7-7 before St. David’s took control for the remainder of the match.

David's played some very good rugby and further tires by Jorge Duch, James Ward and two by Dafydd Davies completing a well earned victory, and setting them up for a good league campaign.

Their next match will be against Oatlands after midterm.
