Minor Girls Soccer Match - January '24

The St David's minor girls football team competed in their final qualifying match before their advancement to the Division 1 knock-out stages on Thursday 25th of January.

Mr Geoghan, their coach was confident in the team before the game and for good reason, with the girls having a winning streak leading up to the match. 

Gaelcholáiste na Mara scored the first goal of the match but David's quickly caught up. 

Mae Brennan scored the next two goals, followed by a goal from Lena Gleeson and another goal from Mae.

Laoise O'Gorman scored twice before the end of the match as well as Lilly Cullen, ending the match with an incredible score of 7-1 to David's.

Huge congratulations to the team and their coach and good luck in the knockout stages!
