An outstanding performance from Mr. Ó’Donachadha’s senior girls team was on display on Thursday the 5th of December. They competed against a strong side from Cabinteely Community School in harsh conditions. Thankfully they were playing on an all weather pitch, so the weather was not able to take away from the extreme talent from the St David's side.
The first minute was a scary one for the Cabinteely side with a goal from Laoise O’Gorman who had just recently been promoted from the third year team. Followed by another goal by Siliem Rodriguez, the duo kept the Cabinteely side on their toes scoring another 2 goals, all in the first half!
Cabinteely scored the only goal in the second half and were otherwise rebuffed thanks to a great defence from David's. The game ended in comfortable victory for the David's side with the final score being 4-1 to David's. Standout performances Siliem Rodriguez, Laoise O'Gorman and Aaliyah Condron.
Congratulations to the girls on this fantastic win and a big thank you to Mr O'Donachadha for coaching and accompanying the girls.
