Three Schools Christmas Choir 2023

Annual Greystones 3 schools choir service

On the 21st of December the 3 schools from Greystones, Greystones Community College,Templecarrig and St David's Holy Faith came together for the 2nd running of the Greystones annual Christmas concert. After the complete success of last year the three schools decided to do it again this year. It was held in the Templecarrig school hall.

We were privileged to have YSgol Uwchradd Bodedern from Wales. The choir service commenced at 7 30 sharp. The Templecarrig principle gave a short greeting speech. Prayers were said in different languages from around the globe. Between each song there was a small reading accompanied by music performed by students from all 3 schools.

Readings were delivered by Ella Andrews in 3rd year and Finn Morris in 4th year. These were accompanied by Ewan and Kate Macadam. All choirs sang beautifully and the Welsh school sang songs in Welshl. St David's sang White Christmas and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. The three schools came together at the end and sang Merry Christmas Everyone. The whole night was a great experience and we hope to continue doing this in the years to come to celebrate Christmas as a community.
