TY Boys' Soccer vs The Institute of Education

It was a great day for Mr Doyle’s Transition Year football team as they took on Dublin’s Institute of Education, beating them 1-0. 

The game was an away fixture, seeing our boys travel to UCD ahead of a 10.30 kick off. With a quick score from Cian Levins thanks to an assist from Ben McLaren, David’s started off the game at a fast pace. The subsequent period of play saw both largely cancelling each other out. Standout performances came from Cian Levins, Ben McLaren, captain Conor McLaughlin and Conan Lyons.

Over all the day was very positive leading the team into the semi finals of their competition. Many thanks to Kian Quigley who managed the team and coach Mr. Doyle who organised the fixture.
