Over the course of 2 days on January 11th and 12th, the Transition Years participated in a workshop on driving theory and safety. The workshop was run by Woods Driving School based in Waterford. The students started by watching several videos on how to drive safely and making sure your car is in roadworthy condition. The students were then informed about all the necessary requirements to take your theory test and subsequently your real driving test. The students then completed a mock theory exam and got to finish with a fun experience using goggles that simulate being in a drunk state.
It was a great opportunity for the students to gain helpful knowledge that will be needed in the future if they go to take their driving test.
