Wicklow Track & Field Championships

On the 10th of April, a David's team including students from 1st to 4th year travelled to Enniscorthy to take part in the Wicklow Track and Field Championship.

Under the lovely sun, David's had a very successful day. The girls U17's Relay team including Laoise O'G, Niamh O'N, Lily C and Lena G won gold in an impressive display of determination and hard-work. In the Mile Run, Connie L, Jack C and Ava D showed their resilience by earning 2 silvers and a bronze medal.

Lena G earned herself a second gold in the 100m race showing her speed and skill. Outside of races the David's U17 Boys team won silver in the tug of war. The team included James D, Sean W, Matthew C, James O'F, Dylan K and Ben E. Overall a very successful day and an amazing day out!
